ElaeoCarpus were awarded the landscaping and civil works for the Bell City Hotel Stage 1 Landscape Upgrade.

​

Bell City, a multi-purpose facility features two hotels, corporate offices, short stay and long stay accommodation, wedding venue, swimming pool, gymnasium, restaurant, and bars, is Melbourne's inner north destination for events and accommodation.

 

The facility underwent an upgrade to the two hotels located on site as well as the external shared spaces. In a two stage planned landscape upgrade, designed by MALA Studios, our scope of works for the project included:

 

• Demolition of over 200m2 of existing garden beds

• Removal of 55 deceased and damaged trees

• Over 300 lineal metres of saw cutting and road saw cutting

• Removal of over 200m2 of existing concrete pavements

• Cleaning and high pressure washing existing pavements

• Installation of over 111m2 exposed aggregate concrete

• Installation of over 111m2 of broom finish concrete

• Installation of over 130m2 of Australian hardwood timber decking

• Irrigation audit, repair and install

• Over 111m2 of Urbanstone exposed aggregate paving

• Install of 50m2 decorative gravel paving

• Non-destructive digging and waste removal

• Install of timber cladding

• Installation of stainless steel handrails

• Installation of mild steel edging

• Installation of tactiles and stairnosings

• Over 400 groundcovers and shrubs installed

• Installation of 100 indoor plants

• Installation of over 200m2 of new garden beds

• Installation of aluminium pool fencing

• Installation of Christies triple modular barbecue
