ElaeoCarpus were awarded the landscape upgrade works at Melbourne's prestigious Methodist Ladies' College (MLC), in Kew, Victoria.

 

MLC is one of the leading independent day and boarding schools in Australia and is internationally recognised for their extensive education curriculum and outstanding academic results. 

 

ElaeoCarpus were proudly commissioned for the landscape construction works for the Year 7 and 8 campus which includes over 750m2 of new lawn, over 500m3 of imported top soil, more than 70m3 of organic mulch, a fully automatic irrigation system, over 8000 shrubs and ground-covers and over 85 trees.

 

Stage 1 and stage 2 works have been completed. 

 

Part of the stage 2 works incorporated the installation of over 700m2 of rooftop garden to the new learning centre, with shrubs, ground covers, trees, fully automated irrigation system, soil, drainage cell, geotextile membrane and the LDPE layer comprising the rooftop garden. An additional 600m2 of additional gardens  was also installed on the ground level adjacent to the new learning centre.
