ElaeoCarpus were appointed as landscaping and civil contractors for Parks Victoria's new ‘green home’ for the Albert Park office in Melbourne.

 

The new office has been designed to better transition into the surrounding green environment while providing better services and amenities for the six million visitors to the park every year.

 

The combined office and depot on Aughtie Drive features a range of sustainable, public space features, including a green wall facade, an inner courtyard, extensive use of feature timbers throughout, and an expanded park nursery.

The new facility replaced the State Bank Pavilion in Aughtie Drive.

 

The area utilised is significantly less than the previous site, meaning there is even more open space in the park and surrounds for the local community and visitors to enjoy.

 

The landscaping project features over 500m2 of gardens, over 180m2 of feature structure planting, over 3000 shrubs and ground-covers, over 1300m2 of new lawn areas and various civil works. ​
